The Story

Tom the Capybara is a children's picture book that takes young readers on an adventure with a lonely capybara who embarks on a journey driven by his boredom. Along the way, Tom encounters a distressed little bird named Mel, leading him into a world of unexpected challenges. Through their shared experiences, Tom and Mel not only find safety but also form an unlikely and enduring friendship. 

This children's book is all about friendship which is shown through two characters Tom a capybara and Mel a bird. My business is based on my love for animals so most of my products feature adorable illustrations of different animals. A perfect gift for children, a collection piece and lovers of adorable art and capybaras.

The Characters

Tom is a lonely capybara who struggles to get along with others and finds it hard to make friends. One day, he meets Mel, a sweet yellow bird who is quite different from Tom and not someone you'd expect him to befriend. Despite their differences, Tom lends a helping hand to Mel, and this simple act of kindness blossoms into an unexpected and beautiful friendship, teaching them both the true value of companionship.
