
Urban Nexus
Branding Design
Urban Nexus is a modern and sophisticated branding project I created as part of an Instagram design brief. The goal was to design a visual identity for a fictional architecture firm that felt professional, sleek, and memorable. I wanted the brand to stand out visually while also building a sense of trust, structure, and creativity.
To achieve this, I developed a clean and refined colour palette featuring a deep, rich blue paired with a soft sky blue. This combination gives the brand a polished and high-end feel, while still feeling fresh and contemporary. Blue is a colour often associated with reliability and intelligence, which made it a perfect choice for an architecture firm.
The logo design is minimal but impactful. I used a modern typeface with a subtle geometric feel that hints at architecture and structure without being too literal. The logo mark can be used on its own or paired with the full wordmark, allowing for flexibility across branding materials like signage, business cards, or online platforms.
I created mockups to show how this identity could come to life across real-world applications. From a bold billboard layout to a clean business card and simple digital touchpoints, every design element works together to present a professional and trustworthy image. The overall brand gives the impression of a forward-thinking firm that is grounded in both aesthetics and purpose.
Rather than being overly corporate, I aimed for a visual personality that feels calm, confident, and elevated. Urban Nexus would appeal to developers, clients, and collaborators looking for a firm that values both precision and design thinking. It’s a brand that communicates professionalism and creativity in equal measure.
This project was a great opportunity to show how a thoughtful and cohesive identity can elevate a brand. Urban Nexus feels high-end and structured, with just the right amount of visual flair to make it memorable in a competitive industry.
