Playful Paws

Playful Paws is a cheerful and energetic dog toy brand I designed as part of a self-initiated Instagram brief. This project focused on building a strong, visual brand identity for a company that sells fun, high-quality toys for dogs of all shapes and sizes.

The branding centres around a warm and friendly colour palette featuring reds, yellows, and oranges. These colours were chosen to evoke excitement, happiness, and movement, reflecting the joyful energy of dogs at play while giving the brand a bold and memorable look.

I selected a fun, rounded typeface to represent the brand name, giving it a bouncy and approachable feel. The logo was designed to be simple yet expressive, easy to recognise, and scalable across various applications.

To bring the brand to life, I created a set of assets including:

• Logo design with a playful and approachable personality
• A custom pattern using graphic elements and motifs inspired by paws, toys, and movement
• Packaging design for the toy product range, created with shelf appeal and visual clarity in mind

Branded imagery and mockups using lifestyle photos and product visuals to set the tone and showcase the brand in context

Throughout the project, I aimed to capture the spirit of the brand visually. Friendly, fun, and made with love for dogs, the imagery and design elements were carefully chosen to appeal to pet owners looking for joyful, high-quality products for their pets.

This project was a great opportunity to explore character-driven branding, visual storytelling, and packaging design while bringing a cute and playful concept to life.
